Unlike other groups primarily focused on ethics, we differentiate ourselves by prioritizing AI as a tool for human empowerment - ensuring that AI works alongside individuals rather than merely adhering to ethical standards that could still lead to human replacement (e.g., fully autonomous public transportation systems).

Our multi-institutional, multidisciplinary, and international approach sets us apart from other initiatives in the AI space.

Our Objectives

• Offer co-funding and resources for researchers from diverse origins (e.g., academia, public-private organizations)

  Establish flexible work arrangements to allow researchers to dedicate hours weekly to tasks within the foundation | Excellence | High-level professionals

• Foster partnerships with key stakeholders including univ., research centres, companies, and governmental agencies.

  Engage world-class experts as advisors and collaborators to guide research and policy development.

• Ensure the results of the foundation’s work reach the public through policy recommendations, open standards, community initiatives and even promoting the integration of the results in private companies with use cases.

  Align projects with international priorities, such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the European Union’s digital and ethical frameworks. As part of the deliverables, we can include education, training and articles in media.

• Obtain financial support and involvement from private corporations, governmental grants, and international funding programs such as Horizon Europe (FP9) or next EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP10).

  Leverage corporate sponsorships, philanthropic donations, and revenue from training, events, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
